Vision & Eye Movement Training App
Can eye workouts really change your vision?
Aim for sharper vision by improving focal adjustment and eye movement
By training the ciliary muscle that controls focal adjustment, improved focusing ability may make your vision feel clearer than before.
Up/down, left/right, near/far, and rotational eye movements
combined with improved focusing ability
may enhance your ability to see moving objects.
With just two measurement features,
you can instantly check your
visual distortion and visual field
right now.
Mekintore was born from the developer's own experience. After years of struggling to read text clearly due to farsighted amblyopia, fixation training helped restore his unaided vision — and that experience shaped the 8 types of training in this app.
Built on a simple motivation: "Share what worked for me with others facing the same struggle."

When we get used to poor vision,
we stop using the vision we already have
The ciliary muscle that adjusts focus only performs at its best when you consciously try to see clearly. Awareness of the act of seeing is essential.
When you get used to poor vision, your awareness of trying to see fades. Once you assume "I can't see" you stop "really seeing" — and lose access to the vision you actually have.
Fixation, smooth pursuit, saccade, accommodation, convergence, figure-eight, gaze stability, peripheral vision. Through eye-muscle training that consciously uses ways of seeing not normally engaged in daily life, you activate the coordination between the ciliary muscle and the external eye muscles

You can start with just 1 minute a day. Each training is designed to complete in 60 seconds, so we recommend continuing with even just one type of exercise to start. Once you get used to it, combining multiple trainings will help you build a more well-rounded set of eye movements.
Results vary by individual, but many users report feeling clearer vision immediately after finishing 60 seconds of fixation training. Long-term changes typically require weeks to months of consistent practice. Daily continuation — even briefly — is key.
Mekintore is a self-care content designed to activate eye movement in healthy individuals — it does not guarantee improvement in eyesight. Vision loss from refractive errors (nearsightedness, farsightedness, astigmatism) or eye diseases will not improve through this training. Individual results vary. For more details, see the developer's story.
It runs in a browser, so it can be used by all ages. However, prolonged continuous use can strain the eyes — please limit to 1-3 minutes per day, ideally with parental supervision for children.
It is more natural to use the exercises with your usual vision aids, so wearing contacts or glasses is fine. Trying with naked eyes gives a different stimulus, so trying both is also recommended.
We recommend one 60-second session every hour. Accommodation and Saccade training are especially good for resetting eye movement that has stiffened from PC work. Use them as quick breaks during desk work.
Stop the training immediately. If symptoms such as eye pain, blurriness, or flashes of light persist, please consult an ophthalmologist. Mekintore is intended for healthy individuals.
