Mekintore was born from the developer's own experience. After years of struggling to read text clearly due to farsighted amblyopia, fixation training helped restore his unaided vision — and that experience shaped the 8 types of training in this app.

Q: How much should I do each day?

You can start with just 1 minute a day. Each training is designed to complete in 60 seconds, so we recommend continuing with even just one type of exercise to start. Once you get used to it, combining multiple trainings will help you build a more well-rounded set of eye movements.

Q: When will I start to feel the effects?

Results vary by individual, but many users report feeling clearer vision immediately after finishing 60 seconds of fixation training. Long-term changes typically require weeks to months of consistent practice. Daily continuation — even briefly — is key.

Q: Will my eyesight actually improve?

Mekintore is a self-care content designed to activate eye movement in healthy individuals — it does not guarantee improvement in eyesight. Vision loss from refractive errors (nearsightedness, farsightedness, astigmatism) or eye diseases will not improve through this training. Q: Can children use it?

It runs in a browser, so it can be used by all ages. However, prolonged continuous use can strain the eyes — please limit to 1-3 minutes per day, ideally with parental supervision for children.

Q: Can I use it while wearing contacts or glasses?

It is more natural to use the exercises with your usual vision aids, so wearing contacts or glasses is fine. Trying with naked eyes gives a different stimulus, so trying both is also recommended.

Q: How should I use it during PC work?

We recommend one 60-second session every hour. Accommodation and Saccade training are especially good for resetting eye movement that has stiffened from PC work. Use them as quick breaks during desk work.

Q: What if I feel pain or discomfort in my eyes?

Stop the training immediately. If symptoms such as eye pain, blurriness, or flashes of light persist, please consult an ophthalmologist. Mekintore is intended for healthy individuals.
