An app that pulls just the audio out of your video, with lossless extraction and conversion. Extract AAC to .m4a losslessly (no re-encode), plus WAV, AAC and MP3 conversion. No upload — it all runs in your browser.
Drag and drop, or tap to choose, the video (MP4, MOV) you want to extract audio from.
For untouched quality, pick “Lossless extract (.m4a)”. For broader compatibility, you can also convert to WAV, AAC, or MP3.
All processing happens inside your browser. Lossless extraction finishes in an instant.
Once it's done, download it. On iPhone, you can “Save to Files” from the share sheet.

Try SawayakaOtotori copies the AAC audio inside your video as-is — with no re-encoding — and writes it out as .m4a. Where typical converters rebuild the audio into MP3 or WAV (recompressing it and lowering quality), Ototori doesn't change a single byte of the original sound. It's also done in an instant and handles long videos with ease.
Your video files are never sent to a server. Because everything is processed inside your browser, you can extract audio with peace of mind even from confidential, personal, or private videos. No sign-up and no installation required.
The audio in videos is almost always AAC. Turning AAC into MP3 requires decompressing it and rebuilding it, and this “recompression” always degrades quality. If you want to keep the sound untouched, .m4a (AAC) is the right output. Conversion to MP3, WAV, and AAC is available too, but since these involve recompression and conversion, lossless (.m4a) extraction is best when quality comes first.
A .mov shot on an iPhone contains AAC audio, so it's a great fit for lossless extraction (.m4a), and on iOS it works right away in Music and various apps. It runs in iPhone Safari too, and when it's done you can “Save to Files” from the share sheet.
For top quality, choose lossless (.m4a); for editing material or reliable playback, WAV; to make it smaller, AAC (.m4a); and when you want the most universal format, MP3. Pick what suits your goal. It also shows details like codec, bitrate, and sample rate, so you can check what's inside before exporting.
